Good Will Hunting Graphite Artwork

This original 18x24" graphite artwork reimagines the memorable chalkboard scene from Good Will Hunting, in which Will Hunting secretly solves a challenging problem at MIT. I added a personal engineering connection by replacing the original mathematical solution with equations commonly used in RF-system design. The result combines a recognizable moment from the film with my own professional background as an RF engineer. Detailed graphite shading captures the character, classroom setting, chalkboard texture, and technical notation throughout the composition. This piece reflects the connection between analytical problem-solving and artistic creativity—two disciplines that have played important roles in my own career.

The original drawing was made using Staedtler Mars Lumograph Professional Series pencils on 18x24" Strathmore 400 Professional Series (acid-free, heavyweight) paper by artist Merwin Tabliago.
